Engagement model
Defined outcomes, delivered end to end.
Agree what will be delivered, by when and at what cost, then let a Hinkor team take responsibility for delivery. You stay in control through regular reviews and clear acceptance criteria.
Overview
How this works in practice.
Fixed-Scope Projects give you a defined outcome, delivered end to end by a Hinkor team that is accountable for the result.
We agree scope, acceptance criteria, milestones and price before delivery begins. Work is delivered in iterations, with regular demonstrations and steering reviews, and any change follows a transparent approval process.
The result is predictable delivery, clear accountability and a solution accepted against criteria you agreed.
- Typical duration
- Weeks to months, delivered in phases
- Commercial model
- Fixed price or capped budget per phase
- Team
- Hinkor-led, cross-functional delivery team
- Governance
- Steering reviews, milestones and acceptance criteria
A good fit when
- Requirements and outcomes can be clearly defined
- You want one partner accountable for delivery
- Budget certainty matters for approval
- Your team cannot take on day-to-day delivery
What the engagement includes
- Agreed scope and acceptance criteria. You know exactly what will be delivered and how it will be accepted before work starts.
- Price certainty. Each phase is delivered for a fixed price or capped budget, agreed in a written proposal.
- Single point of accountability. A Hinkor delivery lead is responsible for the plan, team, quality and risks.
- Visible progress. Regular demonstrations and milestone reviews show progress against the plan, not just status reports.
- Controlled change. Changes follow an agreed process, with impact on cost and timeline approved before work proceeds.

FAQ
Questions about fixed-scope projects
If your question is not here, ask it directly.
Ask a direct questionHow do you fix the price if requirements are not final?
We start with a short discovery or scoping phase that defines requirements in enough detail to price. Larger programs are split into phases, each priced once its scope is clear.
What happens if requirements change?
Changes follow an agreed change control process. We assess the impact on cost, timeline and risk, and proceed only after your approval.
How do we track progress?
You see working results at regular demonstrations and receive milestone and risk reports. Steering reviews with your sponsor confirm direction and decisions.
What happens after the project is complete?
Each project ends with acceptance, documentation and handover. Ongoing support can be provided by your team or through an Outcome-Based Engagement.
How is this different from an Advisory Engagement?
Advisory Engagements produce findings, recommendations and roadmaps. Fixed-Scope Projects deliver a working solution, such as a migrated workload, an implemented platform or a released application.
