Engagement model
Expert advice before you commit to investment.
Work with senior Hinkor consultants on a defined question, from a strategy review to a platform assessment. You receive clear findings and a practical roadmap within an agreed timeframe.
Overview
How this works in practice.
Advisory Engagements give you focused expert advice on a defined question, within an agreed timeframe and fee.
We agree the scope and deliverables upfront, then work with your stakeholders to assess the current position, test options and agree priorities. Findings are presented to leadership with a practical, sequenced roadmap.
The result is a confident decision, backed by evidence and a clear plan for what comes next.

- Priorities, options or risks are unclear
- Leadership needs a business case or roadmap
- You want to test an approach before committing to a larger program
What the engagement includes
- Defined scope and deliverables. The question, outputs and timeline are agreed before work starts, so there are no open-ended consulting fees.
- Senior-led work. Experienced consultants lead interviews, analysis and recommendations throughout the engagement.
- Evidence-based findings. Recommendations are based on your data, documents and stakeholder input, not generic templates.
- Prioritized roadmap. Actions are sequenced by value, effort and risk, with owners and next steps.
- Leadership readout. Findings are presented to your sponsors and leadership team, with time to challenge and refine them.

FAQ
Questions about advisory engagements
If your question is not here, ask it directly.
Ask a direct questionHow much does an advisory engagement cost?
Most advisory engagements are priced as a fixed fee for agreed deliverables. The fee depends on scope, number of stakeholders and timeline, and is confirmed in a written proposal before work begins.
Who will we work with?
Engagements are led by senior consultants with experience in the relevant service area, supported by specialists from our engineering, data, cloud or security teams where needed.
Are we obliged to use Hinkor for implementation?
No. You own the findings and roadmap, and can deliver them with your own teams, Hinkor or other partners.
What if the scope changes during the engagement?
Minor adjustments are handled within the agreed scope. Significant changes are discussed with your sponsor and agreed in writing before any additional work starts.
How is this different from a Fixed-Scope Project?
Advisory Engagements produce findings, recommendations and roadmaps. Fixed-Scope Projects deliver a working solution, such as a migrated workload, an implemented platform or a released application.
