Keep business applications stable and improving.

We support your custom and enterprise applications day to day, resolving issues, applying fixes and delivering small improvements. Your users get reliable applications and your team gets predictable support.

Overview

Application Management & Support

Application Management & Support helps organizations keep their custom and enterprise applications stable, supported and improving, without tying up internal development teams.

We take over day-to-day application support through a structured transition, then resolve incidents, investigate recurring problems and deliver fixes and minor enhancements against agreed service levels. Releases and vendor updates are tested and deployed with minimal disruption.

The result is reliable applications, predictable support costs and an internal team free to focus on new initiatives.

Who this is for

  • IT leaders whose developers spend too much time supporting live applications
  • Organizations running ERP, CRM or custom applications without dedicated support
  • Businesses depending on a few individuals who understand critical applications
  • Teams that need predictable support costs and response times

What gets in the way

Challenges this service addresses

  • Support crowding out new work

Developers are pulled into incidents and user requests, delaying planned projects and improvements.

  • Recurring application issues

The same problems return because fixes address symptoms, and root causes are never investigated.

  • Knowledge held by a few people

Critical application knowledge sits with individuals or former vendors, creating risk when they are unavailable.

  • Growing enhancement backlog

Small changes requested by the business wait months because there is no capacity or clear prioritization.

  • Unpredictable support costs

Support is handled through ad hoc effort or time-and-materials work, making costs and response times hard to plan.

  2. 2 Stabilize Address recurring issues, clear priority backlog items and confirm support procedures.

Why Hinkor

How we back that up

  • Root causes, not just tickets

Problem management is part of the service, so recurring issues are fixed permanently rather than handled repeatedly.

  • Documented knowledge transfer

Transition produces runbooks and documentation that you own, reducing dependence on any individual or vendor.

  • Transparent enhancement backlog

You see and prioritize every change request, with clear effort estimates before work begins.

  • Continuity with our build teams

Applications built or modernized by our engineering teams move into support with existing documentation and knowledge.

FAQ

Questions about Application Management & Support

If your question is not here, ask it directly.

Ask a direct question
Which applications can you support?

We support custom applications and enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM and ITSM systems. During scoping, we review each application's technology, documentation and history to confirm support scope and service levels.

Can you take over applications built by another vendor?

Yes. Transition includes reviewing the code or configuration, documenting the application and building working knowledge before we take full responsibility. Where documentation is limited, we create it during transition.

What counts as a minor enhancement?

Minor enhancements are small changes such as new fields, reports, configuration updates or workflow adjustments. Their size is defined in the service agreement. Larger changes are scoped separately as projects.

How is this different from Managed Cloud & Infrastructure?

Managed Cloud & Infrastructure keeps the servers, networks and cloud platforms that applications run on available and patched. Application Management & Support covers the applications themselves, including incidents, fixes, enhancements and releases.

What if an application needs major changes?

Significant changes, such as new modules or re-architecture, are delivered as projects through Enterprise Applications or Application Modernization. Support continues during the project, and the changes move into support once complete.
