managed services

Reliable infrastructure, run to agreed service levels.

We operate your cloud and on-premises infrastructure day to day, keeping it available, patched and cost-efficient. Your team gets predictable operations and more time for business priorities.

Overview

Managed Cloud & Infrastructure

Managed Cloud & Infrastructure helps organizations keep their cloud, hybrid and on-premises infrastructure available, patched and performing, without overloading internal teams.

We take over day-to-day operations through a structured transition, then monitor, maintain and improve your environment against agreed service levels. Patching, backup, capacity and cloud costs are managed as part of the service, with regular reporting.

The result is reliable infrastructure with predictable costs, and an internal team free to focus on business priorities.

Who this is for

  • IT leaders whose teams spend most of their time on routine operations
  • Organizations that have migrated to the cloud but lack operations skills
  • Businesses running hybrid environments across cloud and data centers
  • Teams that need predictable costs and service levels for infrastructure

What gets in the way

Challenges this service addresses

  • Operations consuming the team

Monitoring, patching and routine requests take up most of the team's time, leaving little capacity for improvement.

  • Unplanned outages

Issues are found only after users report them, and recovery depends on a few individuals who know the systems.

  • Cloud costs drifting upward

Idle resources, oversized workloads and missing ownership let spending grow month after month without clear value.

  • Untested backup and recovery

Backups run, but restores are rarely tested, so recovery time after a failure is uncertain.

  • Hybrid complexity

Cloud and on-premises systems use different tools and processes, making consistent operations hard to maintain.

What we do

Capabilities

Each capability can be scoped on its own or combined into a larger programme of work.

  • Patch scheduling and deployment
  • Configuration baselines
  • End-of-support planning
  • Asset and license tracking

Capability 05

Backup, Recovery & Cost Optimization

Protect data with tested backup and recovery, and keep cloud spending aligned with actual usage.

  • Backup management
  • Restore testing
  • Disaster recovery support
  • Cost reviews and rightsizing

What changes

Business outcomes

  • Fewer unplanned outages and faster resolution
  • Predictable operating costs and service levels
  • Internal teams freed for improvement work
  • Confidence that systems can be recovered
  • Consistent operations across cloud and on-premises

How we work

Our approach

  1. 1 Transition Document your environment, take over runbooks and tools, and agree service levels and escalation paths.
  2. 2 Stabilize Resolve recurring issues, close monitoring and backup gaps, and confirm operational procedures.
  3. 3 Operate Run day-to-day operations, patching and changes, with regular reporting against agreed service levels.
  4. 4 Improve Review incidents, costs and capacity trends, and recommend improvements that reduce effort and risk.

Why Hinkor

How we back that up

  • Structured transition

We document and stabilize your environment before taking full responsibility, so operations continue without disruption.

  • Cost reviewed every cycle

Cloud spending is reviewed as part of regular service reporting, not left until budgets are exceeded.

  • One process across environments

Cloud and on-premises infrastructure are managed through the same tools, processes and reporting.

  • Continuity with our build teams

Environments built by our cloud and platform teams move into operations with existing documentation and knowledge.

Infrastructure Operations Assessment

Review your monitoring, patching, backup and costs, and identify the gaps to address before transition.

Cloud Cost Review

Analyze cloud usage and spending, and receive prioritized actions to reduce waste.

FAQ

Questions about Managed Cloud & Infrastructure

If your question is not here, ask it directly.

Ask a direct question
Can you manage both cloud and on-premises infrastructure?

Yes. We manage AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud environments alongside on-premises servers, networks and storage, using the same processes, tools and reporting for both.

What hours are covered and how are service levels set?

Support hours, response times and resolution targets are agreed during scoping, based on how critical each system is. They are defined in the service agreement and reported on regularly.

How does transition work if another provider manages our infrastructure today?

We plan the transition with you and, where possible, with the current provider. It covers documentation, access, runbooks and knowledge transfer, followed by a stabilization period before full handover.

How is this different from Managed Security (SOC)?

Managed Cloud & Infrastructure keeps your systems available, patched and performing. Managed Security (SOC) monitors those systems for threats and responds to security incidents. The two services share escalation procedures and work together during incidents.

Do you also manage our applications?

This service covers the infrastructure that applications run on. Support for the applications themselves, including fixes and minor enhancements, is provided through Application Management & Support.
